
Arkansas, Tennessee Square Off in NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A trip to the College World Series is on the line this weekend when the Razorbacks and Volunteers square off in the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional at Baum-Walker Stadium.
First pitch in the super regional opener between Arkansas (46-13) and Tennessee (46-17) is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, on ESPN with Tom Hart (play-by-play), Chris Burke (analyst) and Kyle Peterson (analyst) on the call. The second game of the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional will get underway at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, on ESPN. If necessary, a first pitch time and TV designation for the winner-take-all game on Monday, June 9, is to be determined.
The Razorbacks are two wins away from advancing to Omaha for the eighth time in the Dave Van Horn era (2003-pres.) and the 12th time in program history, previously accomplishing the feat in 1979, 1985, 1987, 1989, 2004, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2022.

History Lesson
Arkansas is 44-29 overall against Tennessee, including a 25-13 record in games played in Fayetteville. Under head coach Dave Van Horn, the Hogs are 32-15 against the Volunteers with an 18-6 record in Fayetteville.
All-SEC Supers Showdown
Arkansas is hosting a super regional at Baum-Walker Stadium for the sixth time overall and fourth time since the 2018 season. The Hogs, set to make their 11th super regional appearance in program history, are the highest-seeded team to advance to the super regional round after top seed Vanderbilt and No. 2 seed Texas were eliminated in regionals.
Arkansas enters this weekend’s NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional at 46-13 overall, including a 20-10 SEC record. The Hogs, winners of 20 SEC games for the third consecutive year, are the first SEC team to win 20 or more conference games in five of six seasons. Arkansas is one of two teams along with LSU (1996-98) with three consecutive 20-win SEC seasons in the 30-game era.
Homerin’ Hogs
Through 59 games this year, Arkansas has hit 120 homers, its most home runs in a single season in program history. The Razorbacks eclipsed their single-season program record of 109 home runs, which was set over 63 games in 2021.
SEC Player of the Year Wehiwa Aloy leads the Hogs in homers with 20, tied for fourth most by a Hog in a season. The Razorbacks’ superstar shortstop is one of seven Arkansas hitters with double-digit homers, including Cam Kozeal (15), Kuhio Aloy (13), Charles Davalan (13), Brent Iredale (13), Ryder Helfrick (13) and Logan Maxwell (12).
30 Seasons of Baum-Walker Stadium
The 2025 campaign marks the 30th season in the history of Baum-Walker Stadium, which opened in 1996. Arkansas won its 700th game at Baum-Walker Stadium against Washington State on Feb. 17, 2025, and maintains an overall record of 731-247 (.747) inside the stadium’s friendly confines entering this weekend’s NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional.
Entering Saturday’s super regional opener, Arkansas is 35-4 at home this season. Since the venue opened, the Hogs have recorded seven 30-win seasons at Baum-Walker Stadium, accomplishing the feat in 2004 (31 wins), 2018 (34 wins), 2019 (33 wins), 2021 (30 wins), 2023 (32 wins), 2024 (34 wins) and 2025 (program-record 35 wins).
The Razorbacks have won 28 or more games in each of the last eight full seasons at Baum-Walker Stadium: 2017 (29 wins), 2018 (34 wins), 2019 (33 wins), 2021 (30 wins), 2022 (28 wins), 2023 (32 wins), 2024 (34 wins) and 2025 (35 wins).
