Bud Walton Arena (Gymnastics)

Arkansas hosted the first-ever gymnastics meet at Bud Walton Arena on January 14, 2022, against Auburn. The meet brought 10,345 fans to The Palace, breaking the program attendance record.

Since 2022, the Gymbacks have hosted five regular season meets at Bud Walton Arena with a combined attendance of 46,507, including a new high of 11,031 against Florida in 2023.

In addition to the enhanced atmosphere, the Gymbacks have performed extremely well at Bud Walton Arena, with an average team score of 197.375 at The Palace. This includes a 198.100 victory over Nebraska on March 15, 2024, a new program record and the first-ever score of 198+ for Arkansas.

Bud Walton Arena played host to postseason gymnastics for the first time in 2024 with the NCAA Gymnastics Fayetteville Regional. Arkansas welcomed nine teams and individuals from three additional schools for three days of competition. The Gymbacks went on to punch their ticket to nationals for the first time in six years on April 6 in front of a home crowd.
