Funk Factory Performing At HogFest

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Fans are invited to come celebrate spring with the Razorback Football team at HogFest on Saturday, April 14, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at The Gardens, just south of Bud Walton Arena, on the University of Arkansas campus. HogFest is presented by Pepsi, is open to the public and provides four hours of free festivities for families and fans of all ages, highlighted by an appearance by Arkansas head football coach Chad Morris and members of the Razorback Football team.

“HogFest is a great opportunity for Razorback fans to interact with Coach Chad Morris, our football players, our spirit squads, mascots and the Razorback Marching Band all in one Saturday morning,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek said. “The Razorback fans mean so much to our student-athletes, coaches and the entire program. This is a chance for us to say thank you to those who cheer us on throughout the year. We are looking forward to an exciting spring and I hope fans will join us for both the Spring Game in Little Rock and on the following weekend for HogFest in Fayetteville.

HogFest will feature a kids’ zone area filled with inflatables, vendors, a rock climbing wall and much more. Fans in attendance can pick up a commemorative poster and are invited to obtain autographs from Coach Morris and members of Razorback Football from 10-11 a.m. To expedite the autograph process and accommodate as many fans as possible, please note Coach Morris and players will autograph one item per person.

HogFest kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with the 26th Anniversary Michelle Wilson Walk-A-Thon. Razorback Athletics has partnered with the University of Arkansas Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Lambda Theta Chapter, to co-host the Michelle Wilson Walk-A-Thon, a tribute to University of Arkansas Alumna Michelle Wilson, who passed away in 1992 of systemic Lupus. This year’s Walk-A-Thon is “Striding for a Cure to Lupus Disease” which signifies continuing to support efforts towards finding the causes of and cure for Lupus. To register to be a part of the walk, visit http://mwilson93.wixsite.com/michellewilsonwalk.
