
Golfweek Has @RazorbackWGolf At No. 4
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After a tournament win and a third-place finish last week, the University of Arkansas women’s golf team moved up to No. 4 in this week’s Golfweek.com national rankings.
The Razorbacks trail first-place Southern California, SEC rival Alabama and Arizona in the top three spots. Georgia is No. 5 followed by Northwestern, Duke, Purdue, Kent State and Stanford in the top-10.
Razorback senior Gabriela Lopez is ranked 11th overall as an individual this week. She is followed by No. 19 Regina Plasencia, No. 53 Summar Roachell, No. 73 Alana Uriell, No. 112 Cara Gorlei and No. 297 Samantha Marks.
Arkansas returns to action Oct. 9-11, taking part in the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational in the third of four fall events.
