Gymbacks Host Tigers for Compete for a Cause Meet

The No. 4 Arkansas gymnastics team returns home this week for an SEC dual with the No. 13 Auburn Tigers.

The Gymbacks are coming off a record performance last Friday at Alabama, in which the squad set a new program record team score of 197.525 in their tie against the Tide. The stellar night for the Hogs kept them locked in at No. 4 in the nation, and Arkansas is ranked in the top 10 in all events this week for the first time since 2021.

Auburn is currently 1-4 on the season, 0-2 in SEC competition. It is also the first conference meet on the road for the Tigers this season.

Arkansas will be hosting its first-ever Compete for a Cause Meet on Friday, in which the team will wear special warm-up leotards and hair ribbons with colors tied to chosen causes that are close to their hearts. Fans in attendance are also encouraged to represent their own cause in their attire and through in-meet recognitions. Chosen causes for the Gymbacks are listed below.

Friday’s action begins at 6:45 p.m. at Barnhill Arena for team intros, with first vault slated for 7 p.m. The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network+ with live stats through Virtius. Tickets are available online, in person, or by phone via Razorback Ticket Center.
