Gymbacks Post Team, Floor Season Highs in Victory Over Redhawks

A change in the schedule didn’t faze the No. 8 Gymbacks at all on Friday as they came away with a 197.475-192.675 victory over SEMO.

Arkansas’ Friday team score is a season high and ties for the sixth-highest score in program history. The floor squad put on quite the show to close out the meet and notched an event score of 49.525, their best in the 2026 slate.

The Gymbacks won every event: Morgan Price on vault (9.900), Morgan Price and Leah Smith on bars (9.875), Joscelyn Roberson on beam (9.950), and Frankie Price, Roberson and Lauren Williams in a three-way tie on floor (9.925).

Morgan Price took the all-around crown with a score of 39.600, a new personal best. Hailey Klein came in second with a total of 39.350, also a career high. Allison Cucci placed third on the day with a 39.200.

Klein started the bars lineup solidly with a 9.875 for the Gymbacks. Senior Cally Swaney then added a 9.750 up second. Morgan Price yet again had a strong anchor appearance with a stuck dismount and added her second 9.900 score of the day. The Gymbacks recorded a 49.200 total on bars.

Following a 9.700 from Cucci, Weaver had a redemption moment after a fall last week and scored 9.875, her season high. The incredible one-two punch of M. Price and Roberson stunned with two big routines in the fifth and six positions. Morgan went 9.925 for the second time in a row while Roberson scored 9.950 for the third straight week.
