Hogs Finish Round One in Eighth Place at Puerto Rico Classic

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – No. 2 Arkansas women’s golf started its spring season on Sunday morning from Grand Reserve Golf Club at the Puerto Rico Classic.

The Razorbacks finished the day 4-over-par and sit at eighth place in the 18 team field.

Sophomore Maria José Marin turned the Hogs’ best score of the day, thanks to two birdies, with a 1-under par 71. The Colombia native will start the second round tied for 13th place.

Arkansas will tee off round two on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. from a shotgun start on holes 4, 5A, 5B, 6 and 7.
