Hogs Head to Norman for Regional Action

The Gymbacks will go west for their 19th consecutive regional appearance this week as the team is set to begin NCAA regional action on Thursday.

Arkansas has been placed in the Norman regional for the second consecutive year and opens competition with the regional semifinal against host No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 16 Ohio State and NC State on March 30 at 6:45 p.m.

The Gymbacks will rotate in the same order that they did for last weekend’s SEC Championships: Bars, beam, floor and vault.

The top two teams from each of Thursday’s semifinals will advance to the regional final on Saturday, April 1 at 4:45 p.m. No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Kentucky, Illinois and Iowa make up the afternoon session of semis.

The Hogs will be seeking their third straight regional final appearance, as they made the cut in Tuscaloosa in 2021 and in Norman in 2022.

Arkansas has posted its best two team regionals scores in program history in the past two years: 197.250 in the Tuscaloosa semifinal and 196.975 in the Norman semifinal. In 2022, the Gymbacks also hit new regional high scores on bars (49.450) and floor (49.400) and earned a program-best 49.325 on beam in 2021.

All sessions of regional action will stream live on ESPN+.
