Hogs Hit Road for Midweek at Missouri State
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 7 Arkansas (30-10) will hit the road for its penultimate midweek game of the regular season, traveling to Springfield, Mo., to square off against longtime foe Missouri State (22-16).
First pitch between the Razorbacks and Bears is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Hammons Field on ESPN+.
Tuesday night’s game is Arkansas’ first true midweek road contest since 2019, when the Razorbacks also played Missouri State at Hammons Field. The Hogs are 30-19 in midweek road games under head coach Dave Van Horn.

History Lesson
Arkansas is 55-27 all-time against Missouri State, including a 19-12 record in games played in Springfield. Under head coach Dave Van Horn, the Razorbacks are 20-10 overall with an 8-2 record in road games against the Bears.
Since Van Horn’s first year at the helm in 2003, Arkansas is 30-19 in true midweek road contests. The Hogs last played a midweek road game in 2019, securing an 8-2 win against Missouri State on March 26 at Hammons Field.
Caleb is Muy Caliente
Infielder Caleb Cali has powered the Razorback offense throughout the month of April.
In 13 games, Cali has slashed a team-leading .396/.455/.750 (19-for-48) with five homers and 16 RBI. The Montverde, Fla., recorded his first two-homer game as a Razorback in the series finale at Georgia on April 22, finishing with three hits and a career-high five RBI. Cali is riding a nine-game hitting streak into Tuesday’s contest at Missouri State.
For the season, Cali is slashing .304/.404/.576 with seven home runs and 25 RBI over 30 games. In SEC play, he boasts a team-leading .340/.429/.723 slash line with five homers and 17 RBI – both of which are team highs – over 14 games.
