Arkansas Defeats Kent State, 28-6, in Home Opener
The Arkansas Razorbacks defeated Kent State, 28-6, in the first ever meeting between the two programs. With the win, Arkansas starts 2-0 for the third consecutive season under head coach Sam Pittman. The Razorbacks have not started 2-0 in three consecutive seasons since 1998-2000 under Houston Nutt.
