Iredale Named CSC Academic All-American

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ Brent Iredale has been named an Academic All-American.

The Razorback infielder earned second-team recognition from College Sports Communicators (CSC). Iredale is just the seventh Arkansas baseball student-athlete since 1970 to earn Academic All-America praise from the organization formerly known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Iredale boasted a 3.78 GPA while pursuing his undergraduate degree in recreation and sport management. The Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, native came to Arkansas from New Mexico Junior College, where he spent the first two years of his collegiate career.

On the diamond, Iredale .286/.450/.544 with 14 home runs and 57 RBI during the 2025 campaign. The Hogs’ primary third baseman played in all 65 games, making 64 starts, and finished as the team leader in walks (46) and hit-by-pitches (21) while tying for second in stolen bases (9-for-10).

Iredale joins Allen Williams (second team, 1992), Zack Cox (third team, 2010), Trevor Ezell (first team, 2019), Heston Kjerstad (second team, 2020), Braydon Webb (third team, 2022) and Jared Wegner (second team, 2023) as the Razorbacks’ all-time Academic All-America selections.
