José Marin Named SEC Player of the Year, Four Hogs Collect All-SEC Honors

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas women’s golfer Maria José Marin has been named the 2024-25 SEC Player of the Year.

José Marin was also selected to the All-SEC First Team, along with senior golfer Kendall Todd. Junior Reagan Zibilski and freshman Clarisa Temelo saw placements on the All-SEC Second Team with Temelo earning a spot on the Freshman All-SEC Team. Todd was the program’s choice for the SEC Community Service Team.

Maria José Marin – SEC Player of the Year || First Team All-SEC

  • The top-ranked SEC women’s golfer and No. 4 overall according to Clippd’s national rankings
  • Last season’s SEC Freshman of the Year. Joins Maria Fassi (2018, 2019) and Stacy Lewis (2008) as Arkansas’ only golfers to be named SEC Player of the Year
  • Has played in all 33 rounds of No. 2 Arkansas’ season and holds a 69.1 (adj.) scoring average and a 639-89-11 W-L-T record. Leads the Hogs with an even average score to par, birdies (99), and match play wins (3). Has 17 rounds at par or better.
  • 2 wins: Blessings Collegiate Invitational (-11), Puerto Rico Classic (-9) 1 runner up: Carmel Cup (-6)
  • At the Blessings Collegiate, José Marin went back-to-back and added her second career individual title. The sophomore set a BCI record for the lowest individual score (-11) and bested her 2023 score of -10. Finished 9-under in February’s Puerto Rico Classic, her second lowest career 54-hole score
  • Ranked the No. 1 NCAA women’s golfer for the month of February
  • Played at the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, will represent the Team International at the Arnold Palmer Cup in June

Kendall Todd – First Team All-SEC || SEC Community Service Team

  • The No. 4 ranked golfer in the SEC and No. 14 overall to Clippd’s national rankings
  • Has played in all 33 rounds of No. 2 Arkansas’ season and holds a 69.4 (adj.) scoring average and a 621-102-16 W-L-T record. Holds a +.01 average score to par, leads Arkansas with 20 rounds at par/better, birdies (99), and match play wins (3)
  • Picked up first collegiate win at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (-1), finished runner up at the Clemson Invitational (-15) and the Dale McNamara Invitational (-2). Tied the NCAA record for lowest round to par (-11) in the third round of the Clemson Invitational
  • Has seven top 10 finishes and eight top 15 finishes in 10 tournaments this season
  • Has two match play wins: SEC Championships vs. #6 Texas and #25 Florida
  • Played at the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, will represent the United States at the Arnold Palmer Cup in June
  • 2024-25 Awards/Honors: SEC Golfer of the Week, ANNIKA Award Fall Watch List, First Team All-SEC
  • Todd has racked up almost 15 community service hours. Off the course, Todd has worked packaging meals with Tyson Foods, Inc.’s Corporate Giving Program, visited patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and participated in Choosing Confidence clinics. On the course, Todd has conducted junior golf clinics to help spread the game of golf to younger generations.

Reagan Zibilski – Second Team All-SEC

  • The No. 12 ranked golfer in the SEC and No. 30 overall to Clippd’s national rankings
  • Has played in all 33 rounds of No. 2 Arkansas’ season and holds a 70.4 (adj.) scoring average and a 565-150-24 W-L-T record. Holds a +.06 average score to par, has 15 rounds at par/better and 85 birdies. Leads Arkansas with two eagles
  • Picked up first collegiate win at the Dale McNamara Invitational (-5) and set the program’s then-lowest 18-hole score with an 8-under 63. Finished third at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational (-3), fifth at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup (+8) and T-7th at the Puerto Rico Classic (-2)
  • Her Dale McNamara win helped Arkansas continue its streak of tournament victories which ended at four straight between October-February
  • 2024-25 Awards/Honors: SEC Golfer of the Week, ANNIKA Award Spring Watch List, Second Team All-SEC

Clarisa Temelo – Second Team All-SEC || Freshman All-SEC

  • The No. 17 ranked golfer in the SEC and No. 45 overall to Clippd’s national rankings. Rose as high as No. 26 nationally. The fourth-ranked freshman in the SEC
  • Has played in all 33 rounds of No. 2 Arkansas’ season and holds a 70.7 (adj.) scoring average and a 563-155-21 W-L-T record. Holds a +.08 average score to par, has 14 rounds at par/better, 78 birdies and one eagle
  • Had four straight top 10 finishes: Blessings Collegiate (+2), Dale McNamara (+5), the Jackson T. Stephens Cup (+9) and the Puerto Rico Classic (-6) at third, her highest collegiate finish. Picked up a match play win against then-No. 13 Oregon at the Stephens Cup to help Arkansas to its third of four straight tournament wins
  • Picked up top 20 finishes at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, the Clemson Invitational and was Arkansas’ highest finisher at the SEC Championship at T13 (E).
