Kevin McReynolds Featured For First Free Shirsey Friday
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Free Shirsey Fridays are BACK. As part of the Arkansas Baseball 2017 promotional schedule, the Razorbacks bring back this Baum Stadium original for all five SEC Friday night games in 2017. The first 2,000 fans at Baum Stadium for Friday night’s SEC opener between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Arkansas Razorbacks at 6:30 p.m. will receive a special St. Patrick’s Day shirsey featuring Kevin McReynolds.
A shirsey, often referred to as the “best piece of fan gear in sports”, is a T-shirt that resembles on-field jerseys. In 2016, fans were able to collect shirseys from Razorback greats such as Dallas Keuchel, James McCann, Cliff Lee and Andrew Benintendi. The rich tradition of Arkansas Baseball has seen many greats wear Razorback red through the years and fans will now have the chance to be a part of the tradition in a special way for the second consecutive year.
Gates will open to Baum Stadium at 4:30 p.m. next Friday night before the Hogs face the Bulldogs. Shirseys will be distributed each Friday of the SEC season on the date specified, when the gates open, on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to ticketed guests who will receive one (1) giveaway item (while supplies last). In celebration of the 95th season of Razorback Baseball, the first 1,000 fans will receive a limited edition vintage Razorback Baseball t-shirt on the first Saturday night game of SEC play.

Fans will have the opportunity to bring their “best friends,” dogs, to the game as the Hog Pen beyond the left-field fence will be transformed into the “Dog Pen” for the fourth consecutive season at Baum Stadium.
