Leaderboard Full Of Razorbacks
GUADALAJARA, Mexico – University of Arkansas senior Maria Fassi eagled her ninth hole to turn 6-under in round three of the Mexican Amateur Championship at Guadalajara Country Club in Jalisco, Mexico, on Tuesday.
Fassi, who has won three of the last four Mexican Ams, is in sole possession of second place just two shots back of the leader with one round to play. She signed for a round three 68 and is in the clubhouse with a two-under 214.
Seniors Kaylee Benton and Dylan Kim are tied for fifth place overall. Kim was even on Tuesday shooting 72-78-72=222 while Benton was 2-over shooting 77-71-74=222. Junior Grace St-Germain is in 12th place after counting a 76 for 228 followed by Brooke Matthews who is tied for 19th with a 235.
Signee Julia Gregg is tied for 20th with 236, Julia Dean is tied for 31st with 240 and Cara Gorlei rounds out the Razorback scores with a 242 and is tied for 34th.
