Meet The Gymbacks Set For Friday Night

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — With the 2017 season fast approaching, Arkansas gymnastics fans will have a chance to Meet the Gymbacks on Friday, Dec. 2 when the 2017 team makes an appearance at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in the Food Court Area.

The Gymbacks and Razorback mascot Big Red will be available from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet that will include photo opportunities, autographs, and the chance to pick up the official 2017 gymnastics poster.

Arkansas hosts Missouri on Friday, Jan. 13 for its first home meet of the season and also its first SEC meet of the season. The other three SEC opponents on the home schedule, Alabama (Jan. 27), LSU (Feb. 10) and Florida (Feb. 17), all participated in the Super Six this past season.

The Razorbacks will conclude their regular-season home slate tri-meet against San Jose State and Centenary on March 10 that will serve as Arkansas’ Senior Night. Arkansas will also be hosting an NCAA Regional on April 1 for the first time since 2014 and for the fifth time in program history.

Ticket packages start at $25 for general admission, while fans can also purchase reserved season tickets for $40. The season-ticket package includes a ticket for all five regular-season home meets. Single-meet tickets will go on sale Dec. 14 at 8:30 a.m.
