Midweek Road Finale at South Carolina
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas volleyball team heads to Columbia, South Carolina, for Wednesday’s road finale against the host Gamecocks. First serve of the conference matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT). Arkansas goes into the match as a winner in three straight and five of its last seven. The Razorbacks return to Barnhill Arena this Saturday, Nov. 26 for Senior Day against No. 9 Florida.

All-Time Series
Arkansas leads the series with South Carolina, 23-12, but the Gamecocks swept both matches last season including a four-set win in Columbia. The Razorbacks have won nine of the 16 matches played on South Carolina’s home court. Five of the last six meetings have gone at least four sets including four five setters.
Last Time Out
The Razorbacks won seven of the last eight points to erase a 13-9 deficit in the fifth set to rally past Mississippi State. With four players tallying 12 or more kills, Arkansas registered a season-high 68 kills. Defensively, the Razorbacks picked up 73 digs behind four players in double figures. It was the program’s 10th-consecutive win over Mississippi State.
Career Highs in Starkville
Arkansas benefited from several career-high performances in the team’s five-set win over Mississippi State (Nov. 20). That list features 56 assists for freshman setter Rachel Rippee and 16 kills by senior Breana Jones while fellow senior Savannah Voelzke tied her career bests with 14 kills and 17 digs.
700 for Harbin
With her fourth kill at Mississippi State (Nov. 20), senior Danielle Harbin became the 23rd player in program history to reach 700 career kills. She finished the match with 20 kills, good for her seventh 20-kill showing of the season. Harbin has tallied double-digit kills in 23 of 28 matches this season and ranks third in the SEC and 33rd in the NCAA at 4.23 kills per set.
Even Distribution
In their win at Georgia (Nov. 18), five Razorbacks had at least 10 kills, a feat last accomplished by the program during the 2007 season. Danielle Harbin and Savannah Voelzke had 14 and 11 kills, respectively, while Barbara Dapic, Breana Jones and Ana Sofia Jusino each tallied 10 kills in the four-set win over Georgia.
Jones Turns It On
Senior co-captain Breana Jones has 10 or more kills in seven of Arkansas’ last 10 matches. Over the course of her senior campaign, she has seven or more kills in 15 matches, 12 of which have come against SEC teams. Jones owns a .338 hitting percentage in conference play.
Milestone Watch
Seniors Barbara Dapic and Breana Jones enter Wednesday’s match within reach of 547 career kills, a mark that represents the program’s all-time top 30. Dapic is three kills shy of the figure while Jones needs four kills. Fellow senior Danielle Harbin is 14 kills away from becoming the 13th player in program history to collect 450 kills in a single season.
