The Columbus Regional, one of four NCAA Regional sites, features six Top-25 teams in the field of 18 teeing it up on the Scarlet Course (par 72, 6,416 yards). It is the second-longest course for Arkansas this year playing at 6,416 yards. It trails only The Briggs Ranch Golf Course, which played 6,450 yards. The Razorbacks won that event.

Arkansas opens play at 8:24 a.m. from hole one playing with No. 20 Colorado and No. 30 Texas A&M. The Razorbacks and Aggies were paired for all three rounds at the SEC Championship in Birmingham in April.

Junior Alana Uriell continues to lead the team with a 72.04 stroke average through nine events. The Carlsbad, California, native is a proven competitor in the postseason with a tie for second and a third-place finish in two previous regional appearances.

Stepping up in her first season as a Razorback is sophomore transfer Kaylee Benton. Benton checks in with a 73.32 stroke average and has been Arkansas’ low finisher in three events, including the two most recent contests. She has two top-3 finishes this season.

Razorback All-American Maria Fassi opened the season with a win at the always-tough ANNIKA Intercollegiate while sophomore Cara Gorlei and senior Summar Roachell round out this week’s travel party. Both Gorlei and Roachell counted all three scores at the SEC Championship helping to lift the Razorbacks to a fourth-place finish.

The field is as tough as most of tournaments Arkansas has competed in. It includes (Golfstat/Golfweek): Florida (4/6), Florida State (5, 5), South Carolina (12, 14), ARKANSAS (13, 13), Colorado (20, 21), Texas A&M (21, 20), Purdue (27, 38), The Ohio State (29, 26), Michigan (33, 36), San Jose State (37, 34), Houston (44, 44), Louisville (46, 47), Wisconsin (52, 48), Kentucky (54, 52), Old Dominion (62, 64), Delaware (116, 118), Missouri State (268, 166), Cleveland State (214, 219).
