Norman Up Next for Gymbacks in NCAA Regionals

The Arkansas gymnastics team will make its 19th consecutive NCAA regionals appearance in a familiar locale.

The Gymbacks have been placed in the Norman, Okla. regional, where they also competed for regional competition in 2022. Arkansas fell just outside the seeded spots of the field and are ranked No. 17 in the country entering regional action.

The Hogs will compete against No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 16 Ohio State, and either NC State or Ball State on Thursday, March 30 at 6:45 p.m. NC State and Ball State will square off in a play-in meet on Wednesday, March 29 to determine which makes it to the semifinal.

The Gymbacks will rotate in the same order that they did for last weekend’s SEC Championships: Bars, beam, floor and vault.

The top two teams from each of Thursday’s semifinals will advance to the regional final on Saturday, April 1 at 4:45 p.m. No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Kentucky, Illinois and Iowa make up the afternoon session of semis.

Arkansas has made two consecutive regional finals, in Tuscaloosa in 2021 and Norman in 2022.

All-session tickets for the Norman Regional are now available through the University of Oklahoma ticket center, and single session tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 21 at 10 a.m.

All sessions of regional competition will be streamed live via ESPN+.
