#ProHogs In The NFL – Week 10
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – During week 10 of the 2024 NFL season, 13 of the 16 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters saw game action with seven former Razorbacks earning starts.
BEST OF WEEK 10
Jake Bates, K, Detroit Lions
Bates nailed a career-long and game-tying 58-yard field goal and 52-yard game-winning field goal to help the Lions complete an improbable 26-23 comeback win over the Houston Texans after trailing 23-7 earlier in the game. Bates became the first kicker in NFL history to have a 55+ yard game-tying FG and a 50+ yard game-winning FG in the 4th quarter of the same game. It marked the second time this season that Bates had made a game-winning field goal, while his 58-yarder was the third-longest by a Lions kicker since at least 1960. Bates also connected on both of his point after attempts in the win. He is the only kicker in the NFL this season to post a perfect field goal percentage with 14+ field goal attempts.
