#ProHogs in the NFL – Week 13 Report
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here is a look at how the 13 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 13 of the 2021 NFL season.
BEST OF WEEK 13
Kamren Curl, S, Washington Football Team
Curl recorded four tackles and a pass defended, helping Washington to its fourth consecutive victory by a 17-15 score at Las Vegas. With the win, Washington improved to 6-6 this season, good for second place in the NFC East and would qualify for the playoffs if the season ended after Week 13. The second-year pro has tallied 69 tackles this season, ranking second on the team. Pro Football Focus grades Curl with a 72.2 defensive mark and an 88.5 tackling grade, the fifth-highest among all NFL safeties.
Jerry Jacobs, CB, Detroit Lions
Jacobs recorded seven solo tackles in Detroit’s 29-27 win over Minnesota. He also recorded one quarterback hit and two tackles for loss. He joined CB Chris Cash (2002) as the only rookies in franchise history to produce seven passes defender, three tackles for loss and one forced fumble in a season and is the only undrafted rookie to do so. Jacobs has started in eight of the Lion’s 12 games this season, tallying 31 tackles, seven passes defended and a forced fumble. PFF awarded Curl a pass rush grade of 76.1, the second-highest by a rookie cornerback.
Since all of these stats became officially tracked in 1999, @Lions CB @_luhjerry is the #NFL's 3rd undrafted rookie free agent to post at least 7 PDs, 3 TFLs & 1 FF in his debut season.
