#ProHogs in the NFL – Week 13 Report

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here is a look at how the 14 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 13 of the NFL season.

BEST OF WEEK 13

Brandon Allen, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Allen started his second consecutive game for Cincinnati and completed 11-of-19 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown, as the Bengals fell to Miami, 19-7. He connected with WR Tyler Boyd on a screen pass that went for a 72-yard TD, the longest completion of Allen’s career, and the longest Bengals play from scrimmage since 2017. Allen left the game midway through the fourth quarter due to an injury (chest). In his two games this season, he has completed 28-of-48 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Kamren Curl, S, Washington Football Team

Curl made a team-high eight tackles in Washington’s 23-17 win over Pittsburgh in the Steel City, spoiling the Steelers perfect season. The rookie safety made two crucial back-to-back tackles for no gain when Pittsburgh had the ball at Washington’s 1-yard line in the second quarter. Curl is tops among all rookie NFL safeties in PFF’s defense (66.5) and coverage (68.4) grades. The 2020 seventh round draft selection is also second on the team with 62 total tackles, behind only veteran LB Jon Bostic.

Frank Ragnow, OL, Detroit Lions

Ragnow played every snap and earned a career-best 90.6 run blocking grade from PFF in Detroit’s 34-30 win over Chicago. Overall, he posted an 86.3 game offense PFF grade, the third-highest on the Lions. He holds the third-best season grades among all NFL centers in PFF’s offense (78.7) and run blocking (78.9) grades.
