Razorback Athletics Marching Band to host Band Day Sept. 14
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The “Best in Sight and Sound Marching Band” and Arkansas Athletics will be hosting Band Day on Saturday, Sept. 14, in conjunction with the Razorback Football game vs. Colorado State at 3 p.m.
This exciting event allows high school students to interact, rehearse and perform with the Best in Sight and Sound Marching Band inside historic Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Band directors will receive a complimentary event package, while parents, family and friends will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to the game against the Rams.
“We are excited to share the field with high school band members from around the state,” Ben Lorenzo, associate director of bands and director of athletics band, said. “A gameday experience with the Razorback Band is truly one-of-a-kind and we can’t wait to show it to them. Our fans really appreciate what we do and I can’t wait to collaborate on this performance and make it one they’ll enjoy.”
The event package is $15 per participant and includes the following:
-Pre-game rehearsal with the Best in Sight and Sound Marching Band & staff in the Fred W. Smith practice center
-Lunch with the Razorback Band
-Lower level seating game ticket
-Halftime on-field performance with the Best in Sight and Sound Marching Band
