INF Peyton Holt

Peyton Holt helped the Hogs win their fourth SEC championship and second conference title in the last three seasons, powering the Razorback offense with a team-best .636/.692/1.091 slash line to go along with his three extra-base hits, including two doubles and a home run, team-high six RBI and two stolen bases. Holt had multiple hits in all three games of the Razorbacks’ series at Vanderbilt, matching his season high with three base knocks in the Hogs’ game one win. He also had at least one RBI in all three games of the series, swatting a three-run home run and finishing with a career-best four RBI in game two against the Commodores.

RHP Will McEntire

Stats (2 APP): 1 SV, 0.00 ERA, 6.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO

Will McEntire fired 6 1/3 scoreless innings across two appearances at Vanderbilt, racking up eight strikeouts in the process. The veteran right-hander, who gave up just two hits and issued only one free pass, did not allow a run and extended his scoreless-inning streak to 11 1/3 innings dating back to his relief appearance against South Carolina on May 13. In the Razorbacks’ game one win against the Commodores, McEntire recorded his second save of the season with four scoreless innings and six strikeouts.

Razorback Notes

• Arkansas won its fourth SEC championship (1999, 2004, 2021, 2023), three of which have come under head coach Dave Van Horn.
• The Razorbacks won the SEC West for the eighth time in history and did so for the seventh time under Van Horn (2004, 2007, 2011, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023).
• Van Horn became the 11th coach to win at least three SEC regular-season titles. Other coaches who have won at least three SEC regular-season championships are: LSU’s Skip Bertman (7); Florida’s Kevin O’Sullivan (6); Vanderbilt’s Tim Corbin (4); LSU’s Paul Mainieri; Mississippi state’s Paul Gregory (4); Auburn’s Paul Nix (4); Ole Miss’ Tom Swayze (4); and South Carolina’s Ray Tanner (3).
