Player of the Week
OF Jace Bohrofen

Jace Bohrofen slashed a team-leading .500/.611/1.214 with three home runs and six RBI to help power the Hogs to a 4-0 week, including a weekend series sweep against Louisiana Tech. The Razorback outfielder had a team-leading seven hits, including four extra-base hits, on the week. He recorded multiple hits in three of the Hogs’ four games and tallied multiple RBI in two of the four games. Bohrofen also homered in three consecutive games – vs. Army (March 7), vs. Louisiana Tech (March 10 & 11) – during the week to lead Arkansas to its 26th consecutive non-conference home weekend series win and its second straight weekend series sweep.

Pitcher of the Week
RHP Will McEntire

Will McEntire threw a nine-inning complete game with six strikeouts against Louisiana Tech to help the Razorbacks clinch their 26th consecutive non-conference home weekend series win. The right-hander needed only 97 pitches to go the distance in Saturday’s game against the Bulldogs, allowing an unearned run on just three hits. He did not issue a free pass until the ninth inning. McEntire became the first Razorback pitcher since 2016 to twirl a nine-inning complete game as well as the first Arkansas pitcher since 2013 to toss a three-hitter. Per D1Baseball, McEntire’s outing registered an 84 game score – the highest grade among all Saturday starters across the country.

Freshman of the Week
RHP Gage Wood

Stats (1 APP): 1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 SO

Gage Wood made his lone relief appearance in the series finale against Louisiana Tech and helped secure Arkansas’ second consecutive weekend series sweep. The true freshman from Batesville, Ark., emerged from the bullpen in the eighth inning and struck out three of the four batters he faced.

  • At 13-2 overall, Arkansas is off to its best 15-game start since 2019, when the Hogs also began the year 13-2.
  • Arkansas, winners of eight straight games, has won 26 consecutive non-conference home weekend series.
  • The last time the Razorbacks dropped a non-conference home weekend series was against South Alabama in 2014.
