Braydon Webb delivered the game-winning hit in both of Arkansas’ victories at Mizzou over the weekend. The Razorback outfielder launched the go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the eighth in Friday night’s series-opening win before his game-winning two-RBI double in the top of the seventh inning of Sunday’s finale. Webb’s clutch hitting helped Arkansas secure its 12th consecutive SEC series win.

Jaxon Wiggins’ career day on the mound in Sunday afternoon’s series finale at Mizzou helped the Razorbacks secure their 12th consecutive SEC series win. The hard-throwing right-hander went a career-long 7 1/3 innings and matched his career high with eight strikeouts en route to earning his fourth win of the season.

True freshman pitcher Brady Tygart picked up a pair of multi-inning saves on the road at Mizzou to help the Razorbacks win their 12th consecutive SEC series. The Hernando, Miss., made his first appearance of the weekend in Friday’s series-opening win, throwing two scoreless innings with a career-high five strikeouts to secure his third save of the season in Arkansas’ 7-5 win. He came back in the Hogs’ 6-4 win on Sunday and fired 1 2/3 scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts to earn his fourth save of the year.
Razorback Notes
- Arkansas won its 12th consecutive SEC series this past weekend on the road at Mizzou, the longest such streak since Vanderbilt (2012-14) and Florida (2017-18) won an SEC-record 15 straight conference series.
- Dave Van Horn secured his 300th career SEC win on Sunday at Mizzou, making him one of three active SEC head coaches to accomplish the feat.
