Razorbacks Shoot 8-under in Round 2 at The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. – No. 10 Arkansas women’s golf repeated its round one score in Tuesday’s second round at The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.

Reagan Zibilski and Maria José Marin led the squad and once again scored the same, with a 3-under 69. At 5-under for the tournament, the pair sits tied for second place behind Vanderbilt’s Elizabeth Rudisill.

Rudisill jumped 30 spots on the leaderboard with an 8-under 64.

Junior Abbey Schutte is among the group at 5-under and tied for second after shooting a 2-under 70. She was 3-under through the first nine but added a pair of bogeys on Nos. 10 and 14. A birdie on 16 kept her one shot back of Rudisill.

Clarisa Temelo, who opened the week with a 77, also made a big jump and posted an even 72 to remain at 5-over.

A 4-over 76 caused freshman Swetha Sathish to fall 27 spots after she counted in round one.

Arkansas will tee off at 10 a.m. on Wednesday to start the final round and sits in second place, one shot behind Florida.
