Razorbacks Take on Tigers in Road Dual
The No. 7 Razorback gymnastics team faces another top opponent this week as the Hogs are set to square off the No. 5 LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge on Friday, Feb. 2.
It’s Arkansas’ first road trip to Baton Rouge since 2021, and the Hogs are looking for their first away win over the Tigers in nearly 13 years.
LSU has had a hot start to its season with an average score of 197.379, and the Tigers also claim the second-highest team score in the country this year with a 198.125, which they earned in an SEC win over Kentucky on Jan. 19.
Arkansas is currently tied for first in the SEC with a 2-0-1 record, while LSU is 1-1 in the conference. The Gymbacks have scored 197+ in each of their three meets, the first time with back-to-back-to-back 197+ marks since 2021 and just the second time in program history.
Friday’s meet will be streamed live on SEC Network+ with first vault coming at 7:30 p.m. CT.
