
Ridings To Be Inducted into Arkansas Hall of Honor
Tag Ridings, a former Razorback golfer and current touring professional, will be inducted into the University of Arkansas Hall of Honor this weekend.
A native of Tulsa, Okla., and 1997 Arkansas graduate with a degree in marketing, Ridings helped Arkansas win the 1995 SEC Championship during his four-year career (1993-97). In 1996, the Razorbacks placed third at the SEC as Ridings was the team’s top finisher, tying for sixth. He was also the team’s top finisher at the 1997 SEC Championship, tying for fifth.
Arkansas reached four NCAA Regionals during Ridings time in Fayetteville and tallied had three, top-five finishes at NCAA Regionals (1994, ’96 and ’97) with Ridings placing a team-best sixth (tied) in 1994 and team-best third (tied) in 1997. Ridings helped the Razorbacks finish fourth at the 1994 NCAA Championships, 1th in the 1996 NCAA Championships and 16th at the 1997 NCAA Championships.
Ridings was a three-time All-SEC honoree (1995, ’96 and ’97) while being named All-American Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America in 1997. He tallied 14 top 10 finishes, including three individual wins (1994 Ping Tour Tulsa Invitational, 1995 Univ. of San Francisco Invitational and 1996 William H. Tucker Intercollegiate).
