He played football for Justin Kramer at Little Rock Christian Academy, where he helped the Warriors to a state runner-up finish in 2007. He also participated in wrestling and track at Little Rock Christian.
Personal
Born March 4, 1993, he is the son of Dan and Leanne Deacon. His uncle and aunt, James and Charlet Priest both attended the University of Arkansas and his brother Tyler lettered for the Razorbacks from 2011-12. He is a communication major and was a member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2013.
