2023 (SOPHOMORE): Stellar season as a Second Team All-Ivy honoree as both a defensive back and return specialist … Also named Second Team All-Ivy by FCS Football Central and Third Team All-Ivy by Phil Steele … Earned a spot on the All-New England Team … Started every game and was second on the Big Green with 55 tackles and second in the Ivy League with four interceptions, all coming in the final four contests … Stood sixth nationally in interceptions per game (0.4) … As Dartmouth’s punt returner, he ranked second in the league and top 20 nationally in punt returns (10.9-yard average) and kickoff returns (24.4) … Had six tackles in the season opener at No. 11 New Hampshire … Followed that up with seven tackles and a forced fumble in the home opener versus Lehigh … Had seven tackles, including a fumble recovery, in the Ivy League opening win at Penn … recorded six tackles against Yale … Had four tackles and a pass breakup in consecutive weeks at Colgate and against Columbia … Finished with six tackles and two interceptions at No. 23 Harvard … The following weekend, recorded nine tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, and key interception return for a touchdown against Princeton … Had five tackles in win over Cornell … Posted a tackle, pass breakup and interception in the season finale against Brown … Received the Doten Award at annual end-of-year banquet, which is presented to a member of the sophomore class who has made a significant contribution to the success of the team.
2022 (FRESHMAN): Made the most of his opportunities and was named the team’s recipient of the Earl Hamilton Freshman Award … Pressed into action at Sacred Heart due to injuries and ended up starting the final eight games at strong safety … Tied for the team lead with a pair of interceptions and eighth on the squad with 34 tackles (23 solo) … Biggest game came at Yale where he recorded a season-high seven tackles and returned his first career interception 56 yards, earning Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors in the process … Made six more stops the following week against New Hampshire with a quarterback hurry to his credit … Came up with a critical pass breakup at Columbia to help hold the Lions to a field goal during the three-point Big Green victory … Returned his other interception 28 yards to set up a Dartmouth field goal early in the fourth quarter that essentially sealed the 30-7 win over Brown in the season finale.
