Sategna Named to Jet Award Preseason Watch List

OMAHA, Neb. – Arkansas return specialist Isaiah Sategna has been named to the 2024 Jet Award Preseason Watch List, the Jet Award Foundation announced on Wednesday.

The award, named in honor of Heisman Trophy winner and College Football Hall of Famer Johnny “The Jet” Rodgers, recognizes the most outstanding return specialist in college football and will culminate with the presentation of the winner at the Jet Award Gala on April 10th, 2025.

Sategna earned Freshman All-SEC honors and Third-Team All-SEC honors from Phil Steele in 2023 after returning 23 kicks for 500 yards while registering 180 yards and a touchdown on 15 punt returns. His 680 total return yards were the sixth-most in a single season by a Razorback in program history and the seventh-most nationally in 2023. The Fayetteville product’s 500 kick-return yards were the 10th-most in a season in program history.

The 2024 Jet Award winner will be selected by a distinguished panel of voters, including media members from the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), former winners, and two founders, Johnny Rodgers and William Reed.

Former Razorback standout Joe Adams won the inaugural Jet Award in 2011 after leading the country with four punt returns for touchdowns while registering 316 yards on 19 returns.

Arkansas opens the season at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock against UAPB on Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU. Season tickets are on sale now for as low as $45 per game. To see available seating inventory online, click here, or call the Razorback Ticket Center at 479.575.5151.
