Schutte Named SEC Golfer of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas golfer Abbey Schutte was named SEC Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Schutte was the individual winner after shooting a 9-under 207 (69-70-68)at last week’s The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.

The Goodyear, Arizona native picked up wins over players from six top 50 teams, including four SEC teams.

The 9-under finish tied Schutte’s lowest 54-hole score to par and the 207 matched her lowest total score.

Schutte and the Hogs will be back in action in February at the Puerto Rico Classic.
