RAZORBACK SPIRIT PROGRAM TEAM INFORMATION
Razorback Co-Ed Cheer Team
The Razorback Co-Ed Cheer Team is a composed of 16 men and 16 women. Cheerleaders perform at all home and away football games, including postseason bowl games, and support Razorback Athletics at home volleyball games, men’s and women’s basketball games, women’s gymnastics meets, and SEC and NCAA postseason tournaments.
Team members gain high-level performance experience, travel opportunities, and the chance to represent the Razorbacks across multiple sports and national stages while developing athletic, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Razorback Dance Team
The Razorback Dance Team is a nationally recognized 28-member competitive program that offers dancers the opportunity to perform on some of the biggest stages in collegiate athletics. Team members perform at all home football games and postseason bowl games, as well as at home volleyball matches and men’s and women’s basketball games. The team also travels to postseason competition, including SEC and NCAA tournaments.
The dance team also serves as the RBI Girls at home baseball games, performing from the dugouts before games and between innings. This role provides increased game-day experience, strong visibility, and meaningful engagement with Razorback Athletics and its fan base.
Razorback Mascot Team
The Razorback Mascot Team offers a unique opportunity for students to represent the University of Arkansas as one of its iconic mascots, including Big Red, Pork Chop, Sue E., Boss Hog, and Ribby, the official mascot of Razorback Baseball.
Mascot team members perform at all home football games and men’s and women’s basketball games, and they travel to postseason bowl games as well as SEC and NCAA postseason tournaments. They also appear at select Olympic sports events and participate in on-campus, community, and national appearances. Serving as a Razorback mascot builds leadership, performance skills, and public engagement experience while representing Razorback Athletics on a highly visible level.

As members of the Razorbacks Athletics Department, our spirit squads are proud to be part of the Nike apparel family.
At the start of each academic year, spirit squad members are fully outfitted with Nike gear, including shoes, practice warm-ups, shirts and shorts, a backpack, Razorback Nike tees, and everything needed to be game-day ready. All uniforms and equipment are provided to each athlete.
Beyond practices and competitions, we ensure you represent the Razorbacks year-round. From shorts and sweats to tees and jackets, you’ll be equipped to wear cardinal red and white across campus and throughout the school year in Fayetteville.
