Dana Posey joined the Academic Support team in August 2011, and works with the women’s basketball, soccer, and gymnastics teams.
Prior to joining the academic staff at the University of Arkansas, Posey was the Community Living Services Director for a local non-profit organization supporting children and adults with disabilities in the community.
A native of Ardmore, Okla., Posey earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Phillips University and her master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma. Posey is currently working on her doctor of philosophy degree in rehabilitation counseling at Arkansas.
Posey played collegiate basketball at Oklahoma where she lettered and started for three seasons for the Sooners. Posey’s brother, Tony, was a member of the Arkansas track and field team.
