Temelo Leads Hogs after Round One at Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, S.C. – Freshman Clarisa Temelo turned in a 4-under par 68 and all five golfers finished under par to lead No. 2 Arkansas (-9) to fourth place after 18 holes at the Clemson Invitational. On the individual leaderboard, Temelo is tied for third and the rest of the pack is in the top 25.

Maria José Marin (-3, T6) birdied a team-high six holes. Kendall Todd (-1, T21) played a steady round with two birdies and a bogey on par-3 12th hole. Abbey Schutte (-1, T21) sank four birdies, but a double bogey on No. 7 set her back to 1-under. Reagan Zibilski also finished 1-under and was -2 after the front nine.

No. 24 Ohio State sits in first at 13-under and all four of its counting rounds sit in the top 10.

Arkansas will tee off the second round on Saturday at 8:10 a.m. CT. Instead of the originally scheduled 18 holes, teams will play 27 on Saturday and the remaining nine on Sunday before weather moves in.
