Texas State And Alabama First Sellouts Of Season
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ next two games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, including this weekend’s game against Texas State (Sept. 17) and the Oct. 8 game against Alabama, are officially sold out on the primary market. The games mark the first two sellouts of the 2016 Razorback football season. Arkansas sold out four on-campus home games in 2015, Texas Tech, Auburn, Mississippi State and Missouri.
The Arkansas-Texas State game is set for this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and will be televised on the SEC Network Alternate channel. Game time for the Alabama game has not yet be determined.
“We appreciate the tremendous response by Razorback fans to help ensure our next two on-campus games are something special for our student-athletes,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “Razorback fans are the best in the nation and when they fill the stands our team feeds off their energy. With the outstanding home games to come, we are optimistic that these are the first of many sellouts this season.”
