Todd Named SEC Golfer of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas women’s golf senior Kendall Todd was named the SEC’s Golfer of the Week after winning her first individual title last week at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.

The Goodyear, Arizona native finished with a 1-under par 212 at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In the first round, Todd fired off her lowest round of the spring, a 68, with six birdies. The senior remained steady through the tough conditions in the second and third rounds with back-to-back 72s. On the final hole, Todd sank a 10-foot putt to remain at 1-under and pick up the win.

Individual Result: T-1st place – 68-72-72=212 (-1) at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club
Team Result: 3rd place – 288-285-294=867 (+15)

Todd and No. 2 Arkansas return to the course on Monday, March 17 at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.
