Todd Named SEC Golfer of the Week for Second Time
FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas women’s golfer Kendall Todd was named the SEC’s golfer of the week after a runner-up finish at the Clemson Invitational.
Todd set several records in the process in Sunday’s third round when she shot a program and SEC low 61 and tied the NCAA record for lowest score to par at 11-under. She birdied 11 times and parred 7 of 18 holes. Overall, Todd finished at 15-under with a 201, the third lowest 54-hole score and score versus par in the Arkansas record book. In 54-holes, the senior sank a tournament-best 19 birdies and only recorded three bogeys. Arkansas, in nine tournaments this season, has finished no worse than third place with four wins and and two runner-up finishes.
Todd was named SEC Golfer of the Week after her first collegiate win in last month’s Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
This week, Todd is playing in the sixth edition of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in Augusta, Georgia.
