TV Schedule, Times Announced for 2022 Gymnastics Season

The Arkansas Gymbacks will have four regular season meets broadcast on national television when the team returns to action in January. 

The SEC and ESPN announced its gymnastics television coverage on Thursday, which includes 24 meets and the return of the network’s “Friday Night Heights” franchise, along with simulcasts on SEC Network+, 

Arkansas’ second meet of the regular season, which is also the first-ever to be hosted in Bud Walton Arena, will be televised on SEC Network at 7:30 p.m. CT. The Gymbacks take on the Auburn Tigers in what is the kickoff to their SEC schedule. 

The Razorbacks return to national television the following Friday, Jan. 21, as Arkansas hits the road for a dual meet at LSU. SEC Network coverage will broadcast live at 8 p.m.

Arkansas will be on SEC Network for the third week in a row on Jan. 28 for the Gymbacks’ away contest in Gainesville against Florida. The meet is set for 7:30 p.m.

Arkansas’ home finale and Senior Night against Georgia on Feb. 25 will be featured the SEC Network and will air live at 8 p.m. 

The remainder of Arkansas’ home meets against Ohio State on Jan. 7, West Virginia on Feb. 4 and Kentucky on Feb. 11 will be streamed live via SEC Network+.

Both sessions of the SEC Championships on March 19 will air live on SEC Network, while ESPN will host footage of NCAA Championship action. 

Regionals, which are set for March 30-31 and April 2, will be broadcast on ESPN3 and ESPN+ with individual apparatus feeds available. The NCAA Championship semifinals sessions on April 14 will air on ESPN2, and the final on April 16 will be live on ABC at noon.

Along with television coverage, meet times were also announced for Arkansas’ 2022 slate on Thursday and are as follows:

  • 1/7 vs. Ohio State: 7 p.m. CT
  • 1/14 vs. Auburn (Bud Walton Arena): 7:30 p.m. CT
  • 1/21 at LSU: 8 p.m CT
  • 1/28 at Florida: 7:30 p.m. CT
  • 2/4 vs. West Virginia: 7 p.m. CT
  • 2/11 vs. Kentucky: 7 p.m. CT
  • 2/18 at Missouri: 7:30 p.m. CT
  • 2/25 vs. Georgia: 8 p.m. CT
  • 3/4 at Alabama: 7 p.m. CT
  • 3/6 at Elevate the Stage Huntsville (with Alabama, Georgia and Auburn): 2 p.m. CT
  • 3/13 at Denver (with Nebraska and Oregon State): 3 p.m. CT
