Women's Golf Finishes Chevron Collegiate Tied for Sixth
HUMBLE, Texas – No. 6 Arkansas wrapped up the Chevron Collegiate at the Golf Club of Houston on Tuesday and finished tied with TCU for sixth place at 1-over par. The Hogs started the day in fifth place but shot a 2-over 290 in the final round to drop one spot on the leaderboard.
Freshman Sara Brentcheneff (-1, 19th) paced the Razorbacks with a 2-under 70. She had a clean scorecard until she suffered her only bogey on her 15th hole of the day. Brentcheneff was the only Arkansas golfer to shoot under par in the last round.
Junior Maria José Marin (-3, T9) shot a 1-over 73 on Tuesday but extended her streak of top-10 finishes to seven straight tournaments, dating back to last year’s NCAA Regional in Columbus, Ohio.
Senior Reagan Zibilski (+2, T33) also shot a 73 in the final 18. Zibilski was even par headed into the last hole, but bogeyed the par-4 fifth hole. Junior Abbey Schutte (+4, T47) turned in a 74 and sophomore Anna Kate Nichols (+11, T70) carded a 78.

The Hogs will head to the loaded Darius Rucker Intercollegiate from March 2-4 in Hilton Head, S.C. The tournament will air live on Golf Channel each afternoon.
