Head women’s tennis coach Courtney Steinbock has inked Morgan Cross to join the Razorbacks beginning next fall.

Cross, a Mold, Wales (GB) native, is ranked No. 15 in the U-18 GBR and ranked No. 601 in the ITF Junior World rankings.

Cross has represented Wales and Great Britain since the age of 11, winning multiple championships and medals. In 2018, she participated in the girl’s doubles round of 16 at the Junior Wimbledon Championships and clinched the United Kingdom Home Nations Championship. In 2017, Cross represented Great Britain and qualified for the Tennis Europe Winter Cup U16 girls’ finals, won the bronze medal at the Youth Commonwealth Games in the Bahamas and secured 11 ITF junior doubles titles between 2017-2019.

From Coach Steinbock: “We are thrilled to welcome Morgan to the Razorback family! She’s a great kid with great values that will help continue to grow our culture here. Morgan has a lot of international playing experience and has competed at the highest level. There is no doubt she will have an immediate impact with our team both on and off the court. She is a fierce competitor who has tons of passion for the game and we can’t wait to get her on the Hill!”
