#15 Arkansas Stumbles at Auburn
AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn had three big runs in the first half and never looked back in a 95-73 victory over #15 Arkansas Saturday evening at Neville Arena.
Keyshawn Hall led Auburn with 30 points (11-of-14 FG and 4-of-5 3PT). KeShawn Murphy added a double-double for the Tigers with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The first Auburn run was 8-0 to take a 14-8 lead with 14:34 left.. The second one, Auburn had a 15-3 run, including an 11-0 spurt, to lead 31-17. The final run, Auburn out-scored the Hogs 9-0 to lead 47-30 with 1:28 left.
Hall had 20 first-half points as the Tigers led 49-34 at the break.
In the second half, Auburn jumped out early and led by at least 20 points from the 15:45 mark until the end of the game, except one time when Arkansas cut its deficit to 19 (66-47) with 13:52 left.
Arkansas senior Malique Ewin recorded his first double-double as a Razorback – at 10th for his career – with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Darius Acuff Jr. led the Hogs with 19 points. Meleek Thomas and Trevon Brazile added 17 and 12, respectively.
Arkansas returns home to host South Carolina on Wednesday (Jan. 14). Tipoff is set for 8 pm and the game will be televised on SEC Network.

- Arkansas’ starting lineup was Darius Acuff Jr., D.J. Wagner, Karter Knox, Trevon Brazile and Nick Pringle for the 10th-straight game.
