#22 Arkansas Returns Home to Host In-State Foe Little Rock
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Following its four-game road week at Missouri State and Auburn, No. 22 Arkansas (20-13) returns inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium for a midweek matchup against in-state opponent Little Rock (19-13) at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, on SEC Network+ with Brett Dolan (play-by-play) and Troy Eklund (analyst) on the call.
Entering Tuesday night, the Hogs are 6-2 in midweek games, including a 2-1 record in midweek matchups against in-state foes, this season. Arkansas faces Little Rock in its penultimate game against an in-state opponent before closing out its in-state slate against UAPB on April 14 at CHI St. Vincent Field at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock, Ark.

Arkansas’ Tate McGuire will make his first start of the season on the mound in Tuesday night’s game against Little Rock. The right-hander, who owns a 4.43 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 20.1 innings across nine relief appearances this season, has started four games in his career, highlighted by his outing against Little Rock on April 22, 2025. McGuire struck out three over a career-long five shutout innings in the opener of the Hogs’ double midweek series sweep of the Trojans last year.
