Arkansas second in USTFCCCA Program of the Year tabulation
FAYETTEVILLE – Only two points separated Florida and Arkansas from earning the 2023-24 USTFCCCA Terry Crawford Women’s Program of the Year for the 2023-24 academic year.
Florida collected the honor for the first time in program history while Arkansas finished second after winning the accolade the past two years.
The Razorbacks won two national championships this season in sweeping indoor and outdoor titles, while finishing ninth in cross country. Florida placed fifth in cross country and were runner-up to Arkansas at NCAA Indoor and Outdoor meets.
Following nine points by Florida and 11 for Arkansas, Oregon finished third with 18 points while Oklahoma State and Alabama tied for fifth at 25.5 points each.
The Razorbacks produced its second lowest score for Program of the Year, following the 10 points scored as runner-up in 2015. Arkansas has been runner-up four times since the award started in 2012.
