#6 Arkansas Looks to Continue In-State Dominance against UAPB
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 6 Arkansas (23-7) looks to continue its in-state dominance this week in a seven-inning doubleheader against UAPB (7-19-1).
First pitch in the twin bill between the Razorbacks and Golden Lions is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Baum-Walker Stadium. Game two of the doubleheader will start approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of game one.
The Razorbacks have won their last nine games against in-state opponents dating back to the 2019 season, including a 6-0 mark in 2021. Arkansas took down Little Rock, 16-8, in the first Natural State matchup this season before blasting past UCA, 21-9, one week ago.

Series History
Tuesday’s doubleheader between Arkansas and UAPB will mark the fourth and fifth games the two teams have played against each since 1960. The Hogs have won all three previous games in commanding fashion, outscoring the Golden Lions by a 54-9 margin.

- The Razorbacks are ranked third nationally and first in the SEC in fielding percentage (.985), committing only 17 errors in 30 games this season.
- RHP Kole Ramage will mark his first start of the 2022 campaign in Tuesday’s opener. The veteran right-hander, who has made 10 starts over his five-year career as a Razorback, struck out four in a scoreless two-inning start against UAPB last season.
