All-Academic honor for 13 Razorbacks, women's team

NEW ORLEANS – Thirteen members of the Razorback women’s track and field team earned All-Academic honors from United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In addition, Arkansas received an All-Academic team honor.

Receiving the individual accolades were Kaitlyn Banas (Business), Nastassja Campbell (International Global Studies), Devin Clark (Masters of Recreation and Sports Management), Daszay Freeman (Business), Krissy Gear (Sociology), Abby Gray (Journalism: Advertising/PR), Katie Izzo (Masters of Recreation and Sports Management), Shafiqua Maloney (Geography: Cartography/Remote Sensing GIS), Lauren Martinez (Masters Kinesiology), Maddy Reed (Architectural Studies), Kennedy Thomson (Finance), Carina Viljoen (Accounting), and Tiana Wilson (Human Nutrition and Dietetics).

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have met athletic standards. With this season truncated due to the coronavirus, the athletic standards were limited to the indoor season where student-athletes needed to finish the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event.
