FAYETTEVILLE – The second installment of the Wooo Pig Classic at the Randal Tyson Track Center featured a pair of world-leading sprints by Arkansas alum Amber Anning in the 400m as well as Paris Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred of St. Lucia in the 60m.

Arkansas senior Sanu Jallow-Lockhart delivered a unique double in setting a career best of 52.06 as the leading collegian in the 400m and then ran 4:40.21 in her mile debut.

The reigning World Indoor 400m champion from Great Britain, Anning posted a world-leading time of 50.51 in her first 400m of the season. That eclipsed the previous world leader of 51.00 set by Netherland’s Lieke Klaver recently.

Anning, who has an indoor best of 50.43 at the Tyson Track Center from 2024, cruised to victory with another alum, Britton Wilson, placing second in 51.46. This marked the first indoor race for Wilson since 2023 while she has competed outdoors in 2024 and 2025.

Another section of the 400m featured Razorback alums Nickisha Pryce and Rosey Effiong along with Jallow-Lockhart. Pryce topped the trio with a 51.61 season opener while Effiong finished in 51.88 and the 52.06 by Jallow-Lockhart bettered her previous indoor best of 53.52 from 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A trio of current Razorbacks raced in another 400m section with Saira Prince leading the way with a 52.86 while Arianna Sharpe posted a 53.65 and freshman Morgan Herbst set a career best of 53.93.

Leading the collegiate field behind Alfred were a trio of Razorbacks in Asia Thomas, Taejha Badal, and Ryan Jennings, who ran 7.37, 7.41, and 7.44.
