Brazile and Davis on Coaches’ Preseason All-SEC Team
FAYETTEVILLE – The Southeastern Conference unveiled its 19th annual men’s basketball coaches’ preseason All-SEC first and second teams Thursday. Razorbacks Travon Brazile (first team) and Davonte Davis (second team) were among the 16 players honored.
Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas A&M each had multiple selections. In all, 36 different players received votes for the coaches’ teams.
The coaches’ preseason All-SEC first and second teams consist of a minimum of eight players on each squad, voted on by the SEC basketball coaches. No ties were broken and no predicted order of finish was made.
The 2023-24 campaign begins Nov. 6, when #14 Arkansas hosts Alcorn State for the Razorbacks’ season opener. Tipoff is set for 7 pm at Bud Walton Arena.
