Canadian middle distance runner Tiana LoStracco joins Razorbacks
FAYETTEVILLE – Tiana LoStracco has signed with the Razorbacks for the 2023-24 season. The Canadian middle distance runner won five conference titles while at Bradley University.
LoStracco, who is from Guelph, Ontario, claimed a pair of titles at the 2023 Missouri Valley Outdoor Championships in the 800m (2:05.79) and 1,500m (4:28.75). She established a pair of career best times of 4:10.80 and 4:10.69 in the 1,500m during NCAA West Preliminary rounds to advance to NCAA Championships in Austin.
Career best times for LoStracco include the following indoor marks: 1:33.12 (600m), 2:05.44 (800m), 4:56.36 (mile). Her best times outdoors include 2:03.12 (800m) and 4:10.69 (1,500m).
LoStracco recently set her 800m career best racing in Guelph in June and followed with a 2:03.29 competing at the Harry Jerome Track Classic in Langley, Canada, in July. Earlier in the 2023 outdoor season, LoStracco won the Drake Relays 1,500m and finished as runner-up in 800m.
Indoors, she won the 2023 Missouri Valley mile title and ran on the winning distance medley relay. Set career best times of 2:05.44 in 800m at Boston University and 4:39.00 in mile at Notre Dame during indoor season.
Cross country races in the fall of 2022 included LoStracco finishing 11th in the Missouri Valley conference meet and 42nd in the NCAA Midwest Region.
In 2021, LoStracco earned a silver medal in the 800m at the Missouri Valley outdoor meet. During the 2021 MVC Indoor meet, she ran on the winning distance medley, third place 4 x 400m relay, and finished fifth in the 800m.
