Chalk Up Another Top-Six Ranking For The #OmaHogs

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – It may sound like a broken record, but the Razorback baseball team continues to catch the eye of the college baseball nation as the fifth preseason poll was released today with the Hogs again in the top six. The Razorbacks will start 2018 at No. 6 according to the USA Today/Coaches poll.

With USA Today as the newest of the six polls to release its preseason rankings, Arkansas is ranked No. 6 by Perfect Game, No. 4 by Baseball America, No. 4 by D1Baseball.com, and No. 3 by Collegiate Baseball, its highest preseason ranking since 2013.

Two of the top-10 teams from the Baseball America poll will be coming to Baum Stadium including No. 3 Texas Tech (April 24-25) and No. 8 Kentucky (March 16-18). Texas A&M (May 11-13) will also come into Baum Stadium this year as it was just on the outside of the top-10 at No. 11. Arkansas will also go on the road to face unanimous No. 1 Florida (March 23-25), as well as No. 9 LSU (May 4-6), No. 15 Mississippi State (April 20-22), and No. 19 Ole Miss (March 29-31).

Arkansas is scheduled to open the 2018 season against Bucknell on Friday, Feb. 16 with first pitch at 3 p.m. at Baum Stadium. Season tickets, mini-plan, and group tickets are now on sale through the Razorback Ticket Office.
